As the first Chinese person in Newfoundland & Labrador to be licensed as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), I obtained my RCIC designation in 2016. Throughout my personal and professional experiences, I have developed a keen insight into the Canadian immigration system and programs and many other areas related to Canadian immigration processes. This learned skill set provides me with the expertise to deliver expert representation and advice to foreign nationals looking to obtain a Canada Visa and enter to Canada on a temporary or permanent basis.

As a Certified Employment Interview Strategist (CIS), I provide services in career planning, job search and job retention, including coaching on job search strategies, professional resume writing, strategizing employment interviews, and pathways to networking and building connections and relationships. In the past 8 year I have been helping international students, alumni and their spouses with career counseling. 

My approach is to make personalized holistic strategies for your job search process.   

With over 21 years of international work experience in a variety of educational and business environments, including teaching at post-secondary levels; managing and developing international programs for a prestigious Canadian University, providing career counseling and immigration advising, together with 9 years living in Canada has enabled me to accumulate knowledge and hands-on experience about cross-cultural communication, and workplace culture. 

My consultation includes Chinese business culture for Canadian companies, as well as cultural consulting to companies and individuals who are seeking pathways of understanding the Canadian culture.  

While being a lecturer of English at a post-secondary level for fourteen years, I had been tutoring International English Language System (IELTS) and Test of English as a Second Language (TOEFL), two most widely accepted and popular language examinations.

IELTS and TOEFL are two important exams for university admission, while IELTS and CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) are the two exams accepted by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent resident applications.
